The view from my room was amazing, and it was easy to get to all the tourist spots from the hotel's central location. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast tasted good enough.
My room had very thin walls, and I could hear every word and movement from the room next to mine, which made it difficult to sleep. The bed was also uncomfortable, and I couldn't rest well.

During my Christmas stay at this charming little retreat, I had one of the most peaceful and relaxing experiences of my life. the staff were incredibly friendly and always on hand to help, and the food was absolutely divine. the location was perfect - tucked away in a secluded corner of Tuscany, but still close enough to both San Gimignano and Volterra for some fantastic sightseeing.
being in the heart of winter, the room felt quite cold at night, so I had to wrap up warm in bed.
